CLUB MEETINGS
MWA general Membership Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the club house. The general public is invited to attend. Buffet dinner begins at 6:00 pm with the club meeting scheduled to start approximately 7:00 pm. There is no charge for the meal. Club members should try to bring a dish if possible. Drinks are available for purchase. Guest speakers and fishing reports are often included as well as fishing techniques for new members and interested parties. Every Tuesday is our “work day”. Club members come out early and help with whatever maintenance and repair needs to be done to help keep our club grounds looking good. We also enjoy lots of Euchre games afterwards. EVERYONE IS INVITED.
GROUND USE
Each member will get a combination to the lock on the gate at the entrance in order to enter the club’s grounds with their membership card. The grounds are available to you and your family to enjoy. This includes a wooded area that is filled with the wonders of nature that children love to explore. Included is a stocked catch and release pond, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, and picnic grounds with outdoor restroom facilities. Campsites are also available.

HITCHHIKERS PROGRAM
The Hitchhikers Program is for all MWA club members who would like to fish for walleye in the river or local lakes, or fish inland lakes for pan fish. This is an opportunity for our club members who do not have a boat to get out and fish. It also provides an opportunity for members with boats, but without much experience, to get out on a boat to learn fishing skills. In addition, this program provides some of our experienced members who may no longer have boats an opportunity to get back out on the water. You must be a MWA member to participate.
MENTOR’S PROGRAM
The Mentors Program was established to provide a new boat owner the
opportunity to fish with an experienced club member. This program is set up to enable the new captain to learn bait selection, proper landing techniques, fish location, casting, jigging, trolling, trolling with planer boards, and various other presentation methods available to the angler. You must be a MWA member to participate.
NOTE: Some activities may be restricted or temporarily suspended due to Covid 19
